23rd June 2017 – Unsung Heroes of STEM – This event at Abertay University provides a perfect opportunity to debut our #UnsungHeroines that we have been working on so hard. There will also be opportunities to learn about unconscious bias with Equate Scotland and to meet the engineers of Abertay.
July-August – no events as we will be on holiday, although we will still have monthly meet ups to discuss plans for September onwards.
10th June 2017 – Velcro Microbiome – JC and Isabel had an extremely busy Meet the Expert at Glasgow Science Centre. Our stomach and intestines were back (now with added villi) and the children of Glasgow helped to populate it with 67 good and two bad bacteria.
3rd June 2017 – Luath Street party – This street party in Govan brought together residents from Luath, Elder, Howat and Taransay streets. SGGlasgow were there with our VelcroMicrobiome talking to residents about good and bad bacteria.
4th June 2017 – Molecular Mimicry – Meet the Expert at Glasgow Science Centre. We went along to discuss how molecules in pathogens that invade us can cross-react with molecules in our bodies with devastating effects.
20th April 2017 – Sign Making Workshop Starbucks Byres Road 17:30 – We had a great session creating high impact signage for the March for Science in Edinburgh on the 22nd April.

11th Feb 2017 – Velcro Microbiome – Back by popular demand, Joanne, Rhona, Crystal and Bhoomi delivered our Velcro Microbiome event at Meet the Expert at the Science Centre.
25th Jan 2017 – Burns Bingo at Cumbrae House – We celebrated Burns Night with a Burns bingo session with a scientific prize followed by a chat and a cup of tea with the residents.
